Was there a couple of weeks ago during the hot weather. Its a lovely spot with a nice beach close by, plenty of room and they have an overflow area. You can always help to milk the cows.

Was talking to Bernie, the lady operating the site in the way in and she was saying that there is a marked reduction in numbers this week, she was also talking to a number of other private Aire operators who also reported the same reduction in there sites.

I just passed Norman View and it's looks full.
Maybe in Bannow they haven't been open long enough to have regulars yet, that's normally how places are full up.

That Martin and you can stroll into fethard, today is a bit damp and I wouldn’t mind having a village within walking distance. Having said that there are lovely beaches near here but you have to walk through wet grass, should have bought the wellies

You can get to the same beach Pat by road and its not much further distance wise.
Out the entrance to the road, go left. Take first left and pass the road (on the left) for the church and then take left after about 300m where cars drive to access the beach.

Not correct. You are across the bay. No mistakes, bannow is lovely, but for a pub and a takeaway you won’t beat Norman view in that area

Small misunderstanding, voyaguer is correct, the beaches I was talking about can be accessed by the road he described, I walked through the fields and saw people that were on the beach coming in the front gate nearly as fast as I was. Yes Norman view is across the bay

Love Fethard for loads of reasons but its jammed at weekend's......love the space Bannow provides.....nearer to beaches too and great for dogs. The chipper in Fethard is better in fairness 😁

Not this weekend Rosemary....just back from almost 4 days there. Met 2 craicers there and then a surprise meeting with another craicer on Sunday.... Remember to stock up on grub, drinks etc....you won't go short on milk though! 😁👍

Arrived Tues sunny and so is today. Only MHs parked on one row with EHU (us) and row closest to seashore, so we still have a view.
Paid for a 3 nights may stay weekend as usually harder to find spaces. Still away next week.
