Powerwasher hose split.

Just a long-shot as it's not directly MH related.
My Parkside powerwasher hose split this week, just a small area but it looks very dramatic due to the pressure of the water.
I managed a temporary repair to get my job finished, but now having cut out the damaged section, I'm looking for a way to join the cut ends together. Is there a plumber out there who can advise?

PS: If it was a regular garden hose, no problem. But the pressure involved here is a big challenge!

I've done that in the past. They made me a new hose.

Thanks all but problem solved.... I went to the local hardware superstore to check out fittings. They offer a hose repair service, they have a machine that crimps hose ends together over an insert piece. 👍

Bit late coming to the party but have effected a repair using 6/8mm copper pipe (about 4 inch 10mm) inserted in the pipe and a couple of jubilee pipe clips

That's the idea I was considering when I went down to the hardware store. My next door neighbour gave me a Parkside extension hose (unused, in the box) a couple of years ago. I put it on a shelf in the shed and forgot about it until yesterday.....now I'll be using it to replace the dodgy one, once I get the odd end connectors cut off and changed.

Drinagh Co-op in Skibbereen....a mix of hardware/garden stuff/farmer's supplies etc.
A very large store, particularly handy as they have an amazing range of nuts, bolts, screws, washers etc etc, and not pre-packed at silly prices. You can buy just one nut and bolt...just like the old days!
