Argh!!!!!

I have a feeling some of my mates have created fake accounts just to piss me off!

That's the main reason I didn't go on FB Marketplace with these bikes. I figured it's too wide open there and my mates would surely start messing with me when it popped up on their FB feed.

Seems it's not much better on DD though.

Maybe I'll just put an add in the local bonafide 'paper' newspaper, like the ol days!

Try use adverts.ie there is a comments section below ads for any questions but you don't have to give any personal details or info to anyone until they make an offer that you are willing to except.

You can also see profiles of the people that make an offer, where people can leave feedback from other sales/purchases so you can see if offers are genuine or time wasters before you accept them.

For as much of a pain in the arse folks in DD are, I'll have to say that things always sell eventually.

It just takes a bit of patience and filtering, don't even bother answering to time wasters. Eventually the right buyer will show up.
