Hi All, Can anyone send me the link to a good water proof, breathable, uv protection motorhome cover that good for irish weather. Need to protect the motorhome particularly from the rain and be delighted if anyone could recommend one they are using that works great especially in the winter. If has a door that be great.
Thanks,
KW

There are two schools of thought about covers.
Some say they are just the job while others say they can lead to condensation and chaffing damage (in high winds).
Some say a motorhome is best left in the weather and regularly cleaned like a car. Motorhomes are after all supposed to be a watertight vehicle.
A carport type of protection is obviously best.
Personally, I bought a Fiamma cover for mine about three or four years ago and it's still in its original packaging :-/

It is my intent to build a carport this year for the Motorhome as there is no way i would use one of those covers which are continually rubbing at the edges.
That is a nice one of Daffy's although when he buys this second motorhome he will have to extend it.

Progress is slow. I’ll probably have it built in time. 😂😂

Thanks so much for all the replies. I really have to say really finding it hard looking at my motorhome out in this weather. No carport and def hard to find people to price. I agree it watertight and supposed to be but trying to keep it in good working order and paintwork etc. Are there many people just leaving the vehicle standing out in all weathers with no cover???? I saw the dancover motorhome shelter and seriously considering this https://m.dancovershop.com/ie/…lters.aspx

Anyone used or have any thoughts on these

Thanks to all to date. Appreciated !

This pic was taken in 2019 after it had spent fourteen years without been covered and it still looks just as good.
Regular washing with a good car wash product and occasional polishing.

Thanks for the pic and the reply baguette. That’s a lovely motorhome. As a newbie I guess I have loadsa rookie questions but that’s unreal that all has been good ( even tho why am I surprised when I have never once thought to put a cover on my car! ... I guess v sentimental about my first motorhome and like to mind it as it’s been a long time before I got one)

What products would you folks recommend recommend to keep it well on outside for washing and polishing.

Thanks again,
KW

For water repellency its hard to beat Collinite 845 or Soft99 Fusso Coat.
A ceramic coating done by a pro would be better but at a substantial cost increase.
