Looking at pure sine wave inverters for sale and am kind of gravitating towards this one,
https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Wec…op?ie=UTF8
just wondering if anyone have any experience with this brand or can recommend a good quality unit also would I be better off getting a 2000w as it would be under less pressure, but would that use more current to operate. I plan to use it to run low wattage microwave and probably hairdryer etc. have 2,x 105a batteries and 300w solar panel

If you run the engine when using heavy output items you can take the pressure off the batteries

I have had this for over a year...evening running my 240V fridge in France in August 2020 in 40deg it coped the best...quality unit. The fan has only come on twice and that was when TV, Fridge and coffee maker were all operating in hot weather

If you have two batteries, you can use them in series as a 24v system to power an inverter or am I wrong?

Why would you want to do this?

Is this as well as using the same batteries for the 12volt system?

I ordered THIS ONE and it came in a few days by DPD from Poland.
I was a bit dubious about it considering the price but after testing it I was happy it is, in fact, a pure sine wave unit and uses less than 1 amp for itself.
After installing it worked the microwave perfectly, which is a good test as they do not like a quasi sine wave power supply.
The 1500 watts is more than enough for the microwave and will also cover Mrs. B's hairdryer, the toaster and the coffee maker, if the reserve is available in the batteries we can also use our 1000w electric kettle to boil a drop of water.

What actual one did you get, I'm presuming 220v. but what outlet sockets , is it a remote switch, etc.

I ordered the continental socket version, the three-pin square was only available from China with a long delivery date.
I had a spare European plug so I used that to connect to the outlet for the socket ring in the mh.
It did come with a remote on/off switch on about 1.8m of cable.

So do you move the plug between inverter and EHU, to power up the habitation sockets baguette?

Is the circuit for the sockets completely separate from the battery charger and the fridge. I assume that the battery charger and fridge are never powered from the inverter.

One for fridge and heating, one for battery charger and one for sockets

Well a small word off advice baguette. Plug the battery charger into the inverter circuit and the battery will charge itself 😉.

That one’s free. I am available for consultancy work, Perpetual Power Ltd. . 😬
