I was a bit freaked out recently, hadn't really taken too much notice of the controversy around this type of thing.
It was coming up to my brothers fortieth, my other brothers and I were wondering what to get him using whatsapp, and one sent me a link to the Ooni pizza oven. Unvelievable the number of times since then ads for these have appeared in my Gmail and facebook and ads on various websites for me. Scary.

Bought one for him anyway, review to follow :D

Is anyone watching Netflix USA via a VPN? If so, how does it compare to the Irish offering and which VPN do you use?

4K is the conversion sampling resolution from the analogue film, high quality film is notionally infinite resolution.

If the original film is in good nick and optics on the camera back in the day were good enough back in the day, a modern day conversion to 4K can make a huge difference.

I am marvelling more at the restoration rather than any upscaling to 4K BM. Do you think it was a rescan of the original film? Maybe. It's colourised at the very least surely.

I was wondering if it was restored using AI like those Shiryaev videos on Youtube. By the time the the grainy, low resolution clips are “upscaled” the end results are amazing.
