Well I left the campsite for a quick but not short trip away. And I stayed on a couple of campsites but the second one I stayed on, €20 for MH with 2 people an extra €5 for electricity did not have its toilet or showers open. Don’t get me wrong nice setting and you do get 2 free eggs. So I was happy to put €20 in the envelope and do the Covid tracing form. But in reality it’s operating as an Aire.
The other one no names was €24 per night inc ehu but cash only no document checked or required (I have a uk registered MH) oh and no change given so €25. This one did have toilets and showers open but, well let’s say I thought we would be cleaner using our own.
I should have stuck with plan A which would have been Portumna and carlingford.
It’s been an eye opener. Nice to check out some other sites though.
I don’t think we are too cheap but I do now consider we offer very good value for money compared to some.
Nice to see Ally, Julie and Dennis though.
