What grey water disposal do bus's have?. it seems strange to me that a bus would only need to dump grey water.?

Probably hadn't got a motorhome sign and the bus one might help stop cars parking there . Great to see the facility there , hopefully there'll be alot more

I still don't get it? If bus's need a Grey dump, do they not also need Black
I think they are going to come out one morning to find someone has let go a holding tank all over the drain.
Then they will quickly find a No Motorhome Sign.
facilities like that are great but why only go half way?.

Brilliant, it would be great to have a network of places throughout the country where you could unload waste and take on water like in France. By the way how far is it from Junction 14, sounds to be very near.

J17 was the old N7/N8 split when the N8 went through Abbeyleix. The new Plaza is almost side by side with the Midway service area.

Great news about the Portlaoise Plaza do the same guys own the Obama Plaza? I'm just going by to signage both are the same style.
Obama Plaza don't seem to be very friendly re overnight parking, I never have just going by the signage and their audio recordings.

It seems to be owner by the plaza group
Same owner as Supermacs Pat Mc Donagh

He has a good few opened now,

The Barrack o Bama
Kinnegad plaza
The plaza Kiltullagh M6 Motorway
The one in Tipperary town,

There are more but I cannot think of them

He also also owns a bunch of Hotels including the Castle Oaks Hotel in Castleconnell which was motorhome friendly under previous ownership, could be worthwhile working on the relationship.

I stopped at the Portlaoise plaza on my way back from Lough Ree, I had to wait to dump grey water because a Van full of Greyhounds was parked very near the drain and they were walking the dogs on the grassy area.
Its on a slope so if your grey tank drains from the front you need to drive in as normal, if its a rear drain then you may have to turn and face uphill.
Great facility.

From a craicer who visited last week.
Superb facility, he emailed the pictures to us.

I had to go to Cork recently and I called into the Portlaoise Plaza for a rest and the facilities are excellent. There’s a Supermacs drive through, Papa Johns Pizza that are fabulous, soar, bewleys Coffee and wireless. A fantastic stop over.

I stayed the night at Obama Plaza a few weeks ago. Asked in the shop if it was okay and the guy was fine with it. Just our MoHo when we went to bed, woke up the next morning to see two others had parked up also.

Brilliant, it would be great to have a network of places throughout the country where you could unload waste and take on water like in France. By the way how far is it from Junction 14, sounds to be very near.

junction 14 Mayfield services did have waste and water for coaches when i was there in 2017 but looking on google maps i cannot see it , Is that one still there?
