We're enjoying a few nights at Dick's Field...secure parking, waste and water, great views and easy access to the village and fantastic walks. We consider it great value and visit regularly.
On a walk into the village this evening, there was a line of four campers, nose to tail, taking up at least twice as many parking spaces on the sea-front. The first two were actually well beyond the 'no motorhomes past this point' sign.
Two of them were very much high-end models (no offence to the other two!) who surely could have eached scraped 12 euro together for a night at Dick's.
So, as my heading mentions, I'm just curious as to why some campers would rather possibly annoy locals and irritate other visitors, instead of supporting a local aire? Just curious...
