Need some input from the Brains Trust. We are getting a Eura Mobile 635 ready for the open road. There is a Jigsaw in the Garage that should be the top bunk of a twin set across the rear, anyone with one of these that might be able to advise how the top bunk is mounted/assembled or could show some photos of one in place or that we could look at ( Wicklow ) to get an idea how it is supported.
There are some unused ports on the dash It's A Ducato that some USB ports or switches could fit into anyone fit stuff into them.
On the lookout for an Ominister Bike carrier, it has four hangers mounted on the rear for one. of maybe a towbar to use an existing 3bike carrier.
Is the connection for this a MOtorhome part ar an addon?

any help .
Thanks.

Sprinter. The last photo I assume is the grey water outlet. I have the same fitting on mine plus a hose that fits onto it. It’s handy if you can’t get close to a waste dump. I purchased a extra longer hose that works if further away.

This waste outlet connector is a standard fit for all Motorhome in New Zealand and AFAIK Australia

I would go for a towbar mounted carrier rather than use the rear wall as a support for 3-4 bikes.
Afaik you cannot buy the 4 bike carriers any longer because of the amount of rear wall damage that occurred with 4 bikes loaded on most vans.
Think of all that weight cantilevered out off a thin wall made of wood and aluminium sheet.

that's exactly my way of thinking, the original rack only took two bikes, also with the bottom bunk tilted two would go into the garage. as for the Tow Bar if it was my van I would make it myself or I might get the Brother to do it, if he is good enough to weld Gas pipes, and Submarines I think he would nearly manage it.

So I'm into the workshop to adapt the waste outlet.

Those 4 fittings are fitted at the factory so I am assuming they are into something solid. I woukd still be wary of carrying a lot of weight on it

Although as said, a tow bar might be a better option, but could be costly in terms of money and payload. Depends on what the manufacturer says is the max weight of the bikes and rack you intend on hanging off the fittings.
I think I would be inclined to check with a dealer to see if they were a factory fit or a dubious diy job.

What I did was to use the bike rack and added a support bar from outside (furthest point from MH ) and brought that to a bracket on the tow bar,
That took a lot of the weight off the back wall and transferred it to towbar

When bike rack is not in use just remove the bar and store in garage

The mounting clips are on it from the factory, and two of the bikes in question are competition bike so weigh very little. if we can get a rack that fits they will go on it and the Children's bikes will go into the Garage.

no but am considering making one. if I can't find one at reasonable money. we have a coded welder in the family. and I'm well capable of making a bike carrying bar without the ball hitch mounting which dose not require certification.
