I know Kilmore Quay is not on the app but I stayed there last Thursday night up beside the top carpark around from the fish factory with two other motorhomes. At 2am some thug started thumping the van and after the third time we just drove off.
Kilmore Quay is a beautiful place I have parked in it responsibility several times over the years but never again if they can't control the thugs that live there.

You could park in Alices Motorhome Park for a few quid, and I reckon you will be safe there

This happened there several years ago and was reported to Garda and a couple of local homes were visited and it stopped so you probably should have reported it , there's idiots everywhere

We stayed at Alice's last Wednesday night. We paid £25 and the facilities were closed and no water tap at our spot. I thought was expensive. When we walked into the village there were 4 motorhomes parked up opposite the harbour. Was raging I hadn't driven round there first.

That’s the community motorhome parking behind the community centre. I stayed there two weeks ago. They have a service bay to dispose of grey and black water as well as a fresh water tap. All for €10 per night. No EHU, Good value though.

Hi Fiona
What did they say when you told them that 25£ was far too expensive

I didn't think overnight parking was allowed in the field behind the community Centre,is the entrance beside the Sella Maris.
Alice's field is far to expensive.

€10 euro for ehu sounds a bit expensive. But €15 per night Without ehu is pretty much normal this year

I spoke to someone that was there last week. €40 also. I informed them of the general view among Motorhome owners regarding this site. They won’t be back

May I ask Paul, where did you stay in Westport? Westport House all booked up and doesn't seem to be anywhere else

Thanks. Turns out you can use overflow carpark in Westport House for €32. We pulled into it and enquired of someone parked there and they gave us that info. Went to reception and young fella said no we would have to go elsewhere. I said what about the ones already there and he said they were 'in the system'. Parked at Quay for night, phoned Westport house next day and lady said we absolutely should have been able to stay.
