There was a piece on Today FM recently on campervanning. I’m not so sure the so called ‘expert’ knows what he is really talking about. He makes some controversial statements that are, well hear it for yourself if I can provide a good Link

The RTE1 is a follow up from the piece in the Irish Independent.

That gobshite who was interviewed would not know the difference between a motorhome and a motorbike.
He stated that most motorhomes are the size of a large family car, most motorhomers never use the dreaded onboard toilet facilities and prefer the campsite facilities, anything bigger than these family saloon size would be outrageous around the Ring of Kerry.
Well only 2 weeks ago I went around those roads in a 9m motorhome and did not terrorise anyone Inc myself,I used all of the on board facilities as they were designed to be used.
Where do these plonkers come from?

That sums it up alright Norman. I think he’s the kind of guy who comes on to talk about the auto industry and V8 engines on the motoring slot. But he really hasn’t a clue about campervans and motorhomes.

(This is to do with the interview on Today FM btw, Link, and not the rather excellent interview with Amanda and Aaron on RTE 1 today, just in case there is any confusion.)

Great, very positive well done to both Amanda and Aaron.

it's just a pity that they used it to fill up the last few minutes of the program.

Yes big difference between the two , the rte one was factual by people who know what they're talking about

One useless git letting another, ramble on about something neither of them new anything about.

The other useing an interview with two knowledgeable people who could talk about the subject to fill in the last bit of the program.

Having just listened to the link for the interview with Amanda and Aaron it was brilliant to hear two people who knew what they were talking about.
They came across very well,so to them thank you for your input.
Looking forward to getting to Doonbeg for the crack meet.
