Sliding seat

Does anyone have a solution to.the sharp.end of the sliding sear rail? When the seats are swivelled, the sharp edge of the seat rail.is exposed. I have injured my shins so often - usually when I am.putting up.the front silver screen at night ! We have tried several solutions which involve sticking various covers on the end of the rail,.but these come off when the seat is slid forward. Suggestions appreciated

I think you may lag your legs with pipe insulation! My van is on a 2016 fiat. There doesn’t appear to be any end fittings on mine, but luckily it isn’t a problem on ours.

We tried filing, but it's very strong steel. Anything we attach is just comes off when we slide the seat forward.
I have been looking on line and have seen little plastic slide caps which might work. They are very cheap - so worth a try. And thank you all for your replies.

Pat what is the seat from I think yours is a van conversion. you can get the plastic covers on line or from the manufacturer.
