You dont need chemicals with a sog. The secret is to open the toilet flap before lifting lid, let the fan do its work

Sounds a great system...is it easily retrofitted?

Panda I fitted it to my last 2 motorhomes and it was an easy fit. Worse thing is drilling the hole in the toilet hatch. I must have measured it 10 times before drilling. I found the instructions easy to follow

Or don't buy any parts at all and change your van to one which has it already installed.

Surely that's even cheaper? 🤔

is the sog vented on the cassette access door? if so id imagine you might not be very popular with the neighbours.

It vents out through a charcoal filter, which you replace every 18 months to 2 years. Zero smell if the filter is good. I have been sat right beside it whilst the toilet was in use. Nothing. Just a hum from the fan

Total success with the SOG a great bit of kit. 👍

Take Tommy's advice seriously though, you'll only do this once....

Don't start peeing and then open flap with your foot. Open flap, lift lid then pee just like Tommy said.

No "waste" whatsoever.
At end of Sog life.................
the filter is then used on the BBQ for added flavour.
