Crackdown on Vehicles arriving in France

Been hearing reports of a crack down on vehicles arriving of the Ferries in France.

It has been reported that although you cannot be fined for not carrying the French breathaliser it may be a good idea to carry it anyhow. Motorhomes have been stopped coming off the ferry and have been asked to produce the kit that you must have in your Motorhome when visiting France, flourescent jacket etc. They have also been checking beam deflectors.

IAM in the UK are saying the same and advising that if you can produce the kit a more thorough search is usually not followed.

LOL
Not too likely. Most of time will be spent gardening and pruning trees.

Exactly Ally some folk are never happy. I'd gladly spend a couple of weeks in France gardening and pruning trees.

I will bear that in mind when it comes to pruning all my olive trees in Spain

LOL. We will see the offers coming in then.

I'm not complaining (much) but would prefer to be sipping wine in France. Maybe I will manage a bit of that too. LOL

Mark, I'm sure you will find an opportunity to have a glass or two of good French Wine. I'm afraid I'm not into this New World Wine as I think there's nothing like a good glass of French Wine. Enjoy and you have my blessing
