AFAIK, like other motorhome parking areas both private and public, Dick's Field is not bookable.

If you expect it to be busy, it's best to ring early on the day of your arrival to let him know that you're coming.

Eibhlis O Shea Nugent: If you want EHU give him a ring 086 389 5755. He has installed some more EHU points on site but they are limited numbers. He also had planned to create numbered pitches spread further apart in the field so will reduce the capacity in the front field.

Hi Guys, I was going to head to the sunny south east tomorrow morning. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is any room left in Dicks Field?

Dick's field is not in the Sunny Southeast, it's in Southwest Waterford. :-)

All excitement here at Barrier Central (Dick's Field) this morning....vans moving around left right and centre. Apparently the parking distance rule has been dropped and there's room for everyone! (It seems it was on Facebook, we're not on it so we don't know about anything that's happening. Which suits us fine!)

Just saw a bit of squabbling on fb about dicks field offering priority parking to card holding regulars. Not sure if that's a weekend thing or not.

Facebook again this is the actual rule wording from 12 hours ago.

The current restriction of 50 people at indoor gatherings and 200 people at outdoor gatherings is also being extended until 10 August.

Somebody us in for a load of trouble I hope this is'nt the end of Dicks Field.

Break the rules and they can close it down

Is a campsite/Aire considered a mass gathering? My guess is no. Just as I’d imagine hotels can accommodate more than 50 guests as I doubt it would be considered to be an indoor gathering of more than 50.

Well, for my money, he can shove it up his Jacksey, with that attitude, The day I queue/ beg to park in a field, will be the day to sell the MH. He will be happy enough to see us all when the summer is over

I got a WhatsApp from someone saying he is Now giving loyalty card holders Preference to the available spaces. We filled in the form to get one but never got one. I don’t know if my name is on a list, anyway I think he is going to get a bit of stick from people at the head of the queue if he pull ones from the back first.

Might be still sticking to the 200 rule, but loyalty card wins. Feck if you have been waiting all day to get in. WHO WOULD. Idiots imo

We were thinking of heading that way during our break but tonight I got into a conversation with a fellow motorhomer who mentioned loyalty points.
If this is his position he can stick it up his a&&,I will not be groveling to get parked in a field.
