Ok I admit it, I read the Daily Mail On Line. What really pi**es me off is the use of Ground/Floor in the wrong context. The DM is the worst for it and I heard a Government Minister on TV use it in the wrong way. I was taught that if it is inside its floor and outside ground. You hear on TV that someone was knocked to the floor when they were obviously outside. Ok rant over. This lockdown must be getting to me

I suppose 'ground floor' is logical. It is the floor that is on the ground! 😏

There are exceptions but it's the normal day to day usage of it.
