Ebay is rife, they are now hitting FB market place also. People don't know the price of vans and they are losing thousands. Ebay nor FB care, they don't give one jot.

Hello,
It seems to be a problem with eBay messages and I cannot see the message you wrote.
For fast reply please email me: gareth01@btcontact.info Regards,
so I've emailed the following.
Very interested in the van, I'm a cash buyer.
Can view over the weekend and can travel.
Where in the country are you based?
Dont sell until I view please.
Many thanks,
John
I am the seller of the Pilote Atlantis A5 Motorhome and I am very glad that you are interested to buy it. Actual asking price is £8,000.
The vehicle is still there, I have the V5 document present in my name and current MOT certificate. Delivery available.
So I replied with:
Thats splendid.
I can travel tomorrow to view and if all is well I can pay cash.
Please forward me your postcode. Where is the van located?
I shall leave early tomorrow morning.
Many thanks,
John
Hello,
Traveling to view or buy a vehicle from another person’s private address is not classed as essential travel under the current restrictions. The CoVID-19 crisis still exist and I wish to be safe during the sell. There are only 2 ways to do this sale:
* The first option is to use a transport company that deals with the transaction, motorhome and money as escrow. I travel for my work and I do not have time to bring the motorhome and I think your free time is limited too, so this is the perfect way to make things easier, fast and safe for both of us. I will pay the company, so you will not pay extra money then the motorhome price. You will get the motorhome to your home address, and you can check the motorhome before making the final decision. I think this is the perfect way for us.
So replied:
No, don't worry about that.
I can travel as i am an HGV driver and have clearence to travel.
I wouldn't dream of buying an expensive item without viewing first.
I have cash, can travel.
Postcode please?
See you tomorrow.
I am not giving up on this deal.
I have emailed to say that I am really interested as we used to motorhome before the children grew up and then we took foreign hollidays. Due to the present corona virus we are looking to get back to motorhome and really like this motorhome.
Unfortunately due to the lockdown we cannot travel but if we could do a deal I would pay 50% deposit and the balance when the transport company were there to collect it. I have asked for a comprehensive description and any other information that would be of help and also for an address.
Awaiting reply.

Piss you off now Sprinter this is between me and jon.
Ok folks I think I am on a winner here,he has replied .
His name is Gareth Martin Hughes and the van has 47423 miles MOT Expires 15th Nov 2020 and the reg plastics BL03LBY.
I have asked him is there an up to date habitation report and if so I will offer him £7500.
Awaiting reply
I have her bought folks,£7500 but the guy is really concerned about my welfare so he has arranged all delivery.
I have agreed to pay £3500 deposit and am awaiting payment details which I will share.
I am getting really excited as I feel that I have baged a bargain.
There you are folks i am sorted,i am just waiting on Gareth sending me his bank details.
We can do everything through the transport company using Shiply, they will take care of everything and arrange the delivery to your address. If this is going to be a quick sale, I will let it go for £7,500 with the delivery charges included. If you decide to buy the motorhome let me know, as I have a lot of people inquiring about and send me an email with your full details (Full name, Address, Phone number). As soon as I have your details I will pass them to the shipping company and they will start the procedures. Next step they will get in touch with you and send you an invoice for the motorhome, the tracking number to check the status of the delivery at any time and all the rest of the transaction details. After you've received the invoice you'll need to make the payment by bank transfer to the transport company (NOT to me) and they will hold the money into their bank account until you receive, inspect and agree to keep the motorhome. For the buyer's peace of mind I've also added a 5 DAYS REFUND POLICY so if you won't like the motorhome, you'll receive a full refund, no fees or taxes deducted. If the motorhome is not as described, the transport company will transfer the money back into your bank account. If you decide to keep the motorhome after the 5 days inspection period, you will need to sign the owner transfer papers and only then I will get the money from the transport company.
Regards,
Ntg,
I’m about 1.5 hrs from Louth in Lincs so if you want to arrange for me to go and view for you please arrange for a small fee at the sellers expense. I’m furloughed so available to go at the drop of a hat

I hope you can live with your conscience
