I think the biggest issue would have been digging out all that rock but maybe he sold it on to keep his costs down

He said there was no damp nor condensation ,because he installed vents to circulate the air.

The bit that I found curious was that there was no thermal break (ie)insulation or (DPC) damp proof course.
It looks to be a brilliant idea but in rocky ground how he has no water ingress baffles me.
