I recently purchased a Truma Level Check to be able to check the amount of gas left in the cylinder.
I purchased a new 11 Kg sealed Propane cylinder of gas, the Level Check shows it approx 2/3 full, is this normal ?

Yes. There is always a portion “empty” so it can be gas. If not it would be all liquid, and you don’t want that coming out through your jets. Think flamethrower 💥

As Daffy has said there has to be a void at the top of the contents in a gas bottle and the reason for it, explains why to only use a bottle standing up especially it is a full bottle. The contents of a gas bottle is a liquid under pressure which mixed with air and when released turns into a gas .If you didnt have a space, liquid would come up the pipe and spill out and turn into gas where ever it falls making a really dangerous situation . Hope this helps

I think a full bottle is 80% when full but you're level checker wouldn't be 100% accurate and the bottle is not an exact cylinder so you're reading would be off there also ,IMO all ok
