My son works as a maintenance technician based on the Duinrell campsite in The Netherlands and travels all over Northern France, Germany and Switzerland, he is now in France trying to get back to Duinrell tonight. Eurocamp, probably one of the largest static caravan and tent occupiers on many European campsites have today issued their site staff with a two day notice to vacate their jobs and leave the sites, it is now likely that other occupiers of the same sites will follow suit. Eurocamp don't own all the sites they occupy so it is not up to them to close the actual sites but if anyone is planning a trip to any of their sites later in the year it may be best to check before travelling.
