We are thinking of going somewhere on Friday and Saturday Night.

Most likely Co. Down.

I was thinking of either Daft Eddies, Quoile Car Park or somewhere in Newcastle.

Can anyone supply any advice on these locations? I.E. noise, water taps or simply avoid.

If anyone fancies joining us please let me know. We would be happy with the company..

Hi Craicers
we're ok for next weekend.
I've not stayed at Daft Es or Quoile.
Downs Road car park in Newcastle is good, quiet and safe parking. There are public toilets picnic benches and Percy French pub is on the side of carpark. No water supply but I have filled up at local petrol station no problem. There are always a few other MHers in the carpark.

LOL...Thanks but I am not sure about that..

Might try Tollymore later in the week but failing that Quoile is as handy as any.

Never stayed there and am not sure about how busy it can be at the weekends

Quoile seems preferable compared to what clientele might be at Tollymore.

you wont be bothered by boy racers at the quoile.

use the second car park, the larger and flatter of the two across the road from the river, from d/patrick bridge end its the second car park.

Sorry Brian.. just got internet coverage since yesterday. We were at quoile until about 2pm Saturday. We moved on to look at two other locations. Ally had to go home and we thought you weren't coming so we have gone to tollymore.

Really sorry we didn't see you before we moved on.

Evening,

Had the van out for a run today, Ards Peninsula. D'Dee to Pvogie and back by Kirkcubbin. Seems to be lots of potential parking spots assuming there is no problems with Yahoos.

Anyway, live a couple of miles from Quoile, so called past around 5 P.M. on the way home. Sorry we missed you, perhaps another time.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

All the best.

Davy

That is a pity Davy.

Maybe next time.

I took photos and co-ordinates of two spots on Saturday.
Will post them when I get on the computer next time.

Too fiddly on the phone.

no worries I didnt get there until later.
We thought it was too cold for you to stay so went to Newcastle. The town was bunged with people so spent the night at Bloody Bridge. Met a couple from Banbridge and told them about site.
Some time in the future !

We were in Newcastle on Saturday afternoon and as you say, it was very busy.
Loads of prep work going on for the Halloween parade and fireworks display.

We parked in the coarch are of Donard Carpark while we were in town. When we came bact to the vans there was a third motorhome parked with us. I thought it was you at first. There was no-one in it.

We had a look at two other potential locations with Ally and crew.

It is a shame our paths didn't cross as we would have been happy to join you at Bloody Bridge.
