Just wondering what people are paying in Ireland for yearly mechanical service and habitation check, and if there is a big difference North and South ?

Someone quoted on here £250 I think it was at Thompson's Leisure for habitation only. That's extortionate in my view.

Thanks for the replies. I was charged around €400 for mechanical and Hab check, so it' seems to be about average.

Is it any wonder I don't have a new van. Couldn't afford a new van, then couldn't afford (wouldn't want to pay) the habitation and mechanical maintenance.

£60,00 purchase

£700 - £1400 for a timing belt.

€400 for a habitation and mechanical check.

Cheaper using a hotel. - "Ally an advocate for Motorhome usage and tourism" - Maybe I'm just getting old.

How would the Damp and appliance guarantees be affected by not using the manufacturer's agent??

Thank god they appreciate in value so much every year or it just wouldn’t make any sense to own one😂😂😂

Roller team is in for habitation check with Abbey. £185 to keep up the 10 year damp proof warranty! The 4 year Fiat service is yet to be decided on. Estimates seem to be £3 to 500.
