If you want to come up, we'll fit it for you. Mates rates as you're injured. 😁

Well I got started on my air suspension hope I can put the photos in the right order

this is the control panal had to do a little bit of grinding to get it to fit

getting the pipes and switch wire through once the step and other bits where outloads of room

the wiring loom that came with the unit was short ,I also bought flexi tube to put the pipes and cable in before cable tying it to the back of the van

next I fitted the compressor in the back

so that’s it for now all ready to fit the air bags but can’t do it with my hand the way it is so have to wait till one of my boys come home to help me,will keep you updated 👍

got the first airbag fitted today just a small problem with a bracket which carried cables to the rear wheels easy to move out of the way started working on the other side until I hurt my hand again 🥴

ride hight with bag inflated to 4.5 bar didn’t want to take it up to far with only one bag fitted

van with bag deflated hope you can see the difference will update when I finish

Yeah, but you’ll never drive it at that pressure John. Too hard.
I keep mine at 2 bar and that seems a happy medium for my van under normal conditions.
Now coming back from France with the few bottles of wine, it could be at 3 bar, or even a touch more 😝😚😚

Dave...I'd nearly have it at max pressure when boarding and dis-embarking ferries....Put it back to normal pressures when driving

Sorry guys yes 4.5 bar ,was going to ask what everyone else puts them up to while traveling 2 bar seem about right but I take it it also depends on the weight of the van @nd how much you carry ,also desovered had to upgrade the fuse from 10 volt to 20 volt for the pump

Been on manys a ferry and only once scraped the towbar (on tarbert to killimer ferry)
Bigger ferrys like uk or France etc are seldom that steep from my experience

I've it arranged with the organisers this year and it should keep the majority of people happy. Those expecting a campsite surface from a field are getting a full refund and thrown into the roughest bar in Drogheda.

Guess where you're parking this year? 😂

A field would be great, especially if it’s all in the same 20 feet of elevation 🤪🤪

this is the pipeline under neath

have had the vastiitig at this pressure all day just to check for leeks
