No Warning Any Longer

This afternoon I was going to visit a friend and we have a wee Shitz tzu dog staying with us. He wanted to come so I took him in the car. I had been eating a sausage and he obviously got the smell of it and came over on my knee for a few minutes. I pushed him back on to the passenger seat and presto, you’ve guessed it, a traffic police car was coming up and obviously saw it. He turned and followed me and pulled me in. There’s really no point in being a law abiding citizen all your life. No warning, 2nd chance, grace whatever you want to call it? 3 points and £65 fine. I’m disgusted to say the least.

Jon, they also need some instruction on how to speak to a person. You would think they were bloody (sorry) to listen to them pontificate. I’m so angry and may consider appealing it.

That’s a shame Jack. I really think it’s who you get on the day. Anyone of us could get done for something at any time, when we are driving. I’m not sure what grounds you could appeal it on, or if you lost that appeal, would the be any further ramifications for you. Bloody annoying though, especially when you are generally keeping within the rules, all your life

Daffysparks, I was perfectly nice with him and explained honestly to him what had happened but he was not having any of it. Some of them just think they are God.

Sorry to hear of your misfortune Jack but that superhero will have gone home tonight thinking he has saved the world.
A law abiding citizen is just much easier to hastle than a criminal and also will have the money to keep the coffers full whereas the criminal will be locked up at that costs money.
You have every right to be angry, and good luck should you appeal what was very rough justice.

They are only doing their job Jack picking on the easy pray. Offer it up it could be worse the dog could have bitten him.

Jack. My business partner had the same thing. She had her Alsatian sitting in the passenger seat of her Mini when she was stopped. The guy ranted and raved and gave her a lecture on safety and threatened to give her a ticket. It wasnt until she quietly pointed out that the dog was in a doggy restraint that he wound his neck in
