Again...Thanks for all the well wishes folks.....Not long back from Donagheys and weather was great for the journey. Have her parked in garden....Glad my sums were correct when I extended driveway during summer....Will take a pic tomorrow and you'll see what I mean

Had meant to post these few pics last week. I had extended my front parking bay during the summer in readiness for the new van.....Not ideal but way better than parking out on road......

Wow! Have you considered knocking a wall out at the front of your house and extending in to the MH?

I was going to suggest driving it in to allow more light into your house until I saw the length of the rear overhang. I hope you have good sturdy bump stops against the back wheels when reversing, John. you are dead right it is much safer where you have it, one suggestion, Should you consider putting a removable bollard in front of it to deter theft?

Yeah Pat....The overhang prevents me driving in nose first. I have cappings at rear on the ground as bump stops but will be cementing them in place shortly so they dont move. Like I said...not ideal but I have a narrow street in front of house and would never leave it parked out there. My son parks his car in front of the camper at night so dont think bollards are needed.....would if I had to though

Several neighbours have complimented Nigel on his parking of our new 7m. Which is also a slope there is 12" space at back.
Like you John he may do some alterations He may re-align a curve of raised sleepers as concerned that not doing clutch any good (automatic).
Some days it works perfectly.
