Just booked the Irish Ferries Dub to Cherbourg for Sept and believe it or no no small kennels for our Jack Russel.
My question is,can I leave him in the MH? If so is there any chance of access even once?

I dont believe IF allow animals to be left in vans you must have a kennel booked ,Stena do allow animals to be left in vans alright ,so I assume if you havent booked a kennel you havent booked your dog in

Tried to book a kennel but none available which suprised me considering its 8 months away!
Would leave dog at home if I have to but much prefer to bring him.
Just hoping a plan B was to leave him in camper.

Irish Ferries are very restrictive when bringing pets to France, expensive kennels and very limited visits for toilet or walking. No staying in the vehicle.

Stena have free kennels and you can come and go as you please. The dogs can be brought out on any open deck any time you want. If the kennel places are full, you can keep them in the vehicle.

No, as Dave says .... dogs can’t be left in Motorhome in IF crossing, they can on Stena.

Call Irish ferries with your booking reference and discuss with them, there’s a chance they’ll sort a kennel or at least offer you an option of one if someone cancels.

I’m the same as you I wouldn’t leave my dog at home , we’ve a jack Russell too,
But they definitely will not allow him in the motorhome ,
We are going to Santander from cork in June with a dog friendly cabin, so he will be in our room,
