A very pleasant find. A newly opened campsite next to SAN Javier airport, military base. I read about this one thought I’d check it out. Price €10 inc 16amp ehu hot showers (very clean) no WiFi yet. But the bonus for me was pitch sizes, varying between big and huge. Only just arrived today but my one nighter is likely to be extended. The site is not very full unlike the 2 Aires nearby which looked chocker.
Beach restaurant and bar all on site.

There is a wooden boardwalk leading to a good boardwalk, as you know I have a dog and he selects most sites, it could be be better but it really is not bad at all. Also found an Nepalese restaurant that delivers plus the restaurant on the campsite will bring the food to your pitch.
It really is very good so far. And yes dogs are allowed on their small beach.

Thanks Jamie, that's one to add to the list. There aren't many beaches allowing dogs. Could be heading that way at the end of February, really looking forward to a bit of good weather.

Update we had 4 great nights here, the 5th one was New Year’s Eve- not good. There’s an open air disco about 500m away (as the crow flies) very popular and went til 7am, I honestly thought from the noise it must have been on site. Not the Campsite’s fault but something to be aware of. I’m told the disco is regular especially in summer! Also I’ve been bitten by mosquitos here and that’s unusual for Spain at this time of year.

I will come back next time with jungle formula and ear defenders as the site is handy and good value.
