Hope you had a great night in your new van.

It's December, surprised there were three vans 😁

Extend the flue on top by 100mm.... ‘eddies’ (air currents disturbed by objects) swirl across the roof causing a temporary higher pressure on the outlet preventing air flow through the heater & making it flame out.... the extended flue takes it above the eddies.
Even a temp one (12” of 150mm drain pipe) set around the existing flue will stop it.
I’ve been there with the same issue.

If you have a bottom exit flue thru the floor then I have solved the issue by using a cardboard box opened up to its full flat pack size and jamming it along the windy side of the van to make a skirt about 2 m long between the van side and the ground.

Great gesture by Sitar Restaurant. Always enjoy the food when there and staff very friendly. Will continue to support them when staying in Carlingford.

Great gesture from a fantastic restaurant, well done to all involved. Let's hope they're not overrun by the so-called "country cousins".

Jack i concur with your thoughts.
It would be unforgivable if this kind offer was gatecrashed by wasters.
