I have a classic car that suffered under the sunlight and had lacquer peel on the bonnet and wings.

Sprayed by Derek and all I can say is "wow!!!!" An amazing job, the car looks like new once again!

Very pleased!

It's the original colour and only the bonnet wings and then doors blended in were done. Despite it looking two different colours in the photographs.

Is that a Suzuki Alto? Haven't seen one for ages even in pictures. The small Japanese cars are just so honest vehicles: Neat, reliable and functional.

It is indeed, an Alto FX to be precise. Only 5 left in the UK apparently, still a very popular car, mine is a MK1 but they are still around. What you said above sums them up perfectly.

They look a bit different now...

Now if that was a Motorhome parked like that across a few bays, there would be outrage !!

My Susie went out to buy an alto in 1988 she said the alto was so small she could have nearly fitted it into the Renault 12 she was driving. She came home in a 1300 4 cyl Swift ( brilliant little car with a big heart ) we had it for 12 years and it got our two their licenses.

Special licence with a Suzuki.

I think it was parked there for the sake of the photograph, the turned front wheel is a dead give away. So don't you bloody well come on here and start picking on us Suzuki drivers, have you seen the state of some of thon Tractors parking!?

If she thought it was small then.......!

If I go down the road in it I avoid 4x4 vehicles in case they drive over the top of me and drive on without knowing. Seriously though, those are the cars that parking bays were made for :/

Great car, extremely reliable. A very underestimated marque. I've never owned a swift, drove one. The new one is very tempting but I think in a year or two a second hand new shape Jimny will be my purchase.

My daily..... 1.6 petrol automatic...

Looks a bit different than that now.

Since I first drove a South African Valiant barracuda in 1969 I would have to agree with you. unfortunately I could never afford not to have to change gears.

I love automatics but had problems with two E Class Mercs I had. Both were the 7 speed automatic gearbox. The first one used to stick in 5th gear the second one stuck in 2nd. I upgraded to a Skoda

Our first automatic was the current Motorhome which we bought nearly 5 years ago when my left knee was under serious pressure clutching, since then we replaced the Jeep and car with automatics. the knee is replaced now and still there is no way I want to go back to a clutch. modern Automatics are more economical than manuals, My daughter has a Volvo v40 and it is 8 speed automatic.
