Buying in Uk, VRT implications

Hi, I’m heading over to the Uk on Wednesday for a week to look at a number of campervan’s with a view to buying one. One campervan that I have my eye on however is down on its log book as a minibus. It is also a 1989 model.
What are the implications regarding VRT if it’s down as a minibus as opposed to a campervan?
Is it classed as vintage?
Would it be difficult or costly to change the designation on the log book from minibus to camper?

Regards Gerard
