Hello, just wondering if there are any suggestions which way is best to park your motorhome to avoid rain gathering across the roof? Are you better with the nose facing down a gentle sloped driveway, so arse facing down the driveway?

Thanks in advance :-/

That will depend on the run off your roof, some will run better over the front some will run better off the side and some will run better over the back.
On my own van i will always try and get it going over the back, and at that i am about level on the inside floor.

I put mine up on the levelers and let the air out of the air suspension to drop the rear

I always drive the front of ours up on 6'' Concrete blocks on the flat from the leavers and let the rain drain over the back.

Exact same here before I got my carport built for it. Bird dung m, leaf stains and black streaks were a pain and you would still get some algae stains. Still much better than nose down or on the flat if you have a Luton type van. It still doesn’t stop the rain getting into the engine bay of an earlier Ducato which mine is.

I have just let my van sit on the driveway slightly down at the front. When it rains the rain runs off just behind the drivers door. It has been doing this for years now and I have just found rot at the point at the bottom where it drops off the van. It has been seeping through a seam and rotted the corner of the van.

I think our Ducato was designed to direct the rain into the engine bay!
Parking it with front on levelers too, helps a bit.
