North coast of Spain

I am thinking of heading on the Cork/Santander ferry next year and staying around the north of Spain and Portugal. Any suggestions for good aires or sites that are in a town and close to a beach. Thanks.

Be cold and possibly wet early in the year on the north coast Nick.
South eastern Med Side of Spain will be mild, warm even...... see you there !

I wrote a bit of a blog about my trip there last year, forum/topic.php?t=17115 most of the pictures are gone but all the writing is still there. Due to a bio tech hitch this years blog wont be done for another couple of weeks. If there's anything I can help you with just send me a PM.
