Tax and Insurance, what to expect?

Hi,
I'd like to get some ball park figures on what to expect on tax and insurance for my first van conversion. Would be great to hear what the usual go is! Also, in Ireland is there any way I could make the camper van my main vehicle. Truth is I work from home and do tiny mileage....would be such a waste to have to keep the car as well.
Maybe the insurance companies would consider it but charge a lot more. Has anyone done that?
Many thanks

Motorhome tax is €102 usually.
Insurance with Dolmen, not main vehicle €345. Some clubs can get you €45-50 discount off that. As your main vehicle, I recall somebody here lately getting it for an extra 270 or maybe €370. It’s on here somewhere. Good luck with it anyway

To drive the van as your main vehicle would greatly increase the cost of insurance, depending on size mileage etc
