Anybody have any experience with this brand? They are part of the Rapido group built in Tuscany, Italy. I believe Camper World in Midleton are importing them. I Was in one last weekend and must say it looks impressive and I believe they are very well priced.

Never heard of them Pat and I always thought Rapido was French and tied in with Chausson in some way but I'm happy to be corrected on that

I had never heard of them until someone round the corner from me hired one from a local hire firm . He had never driven a van this size and backed into the car park where i keep my van and he scraped the grill causing £100 worth of damage .(and he was going up Scotland for the Bank holiday weekend)

looks like a few hire companies have them .

They seem to have a similar profile look to the likes of Challenger/Benimar etc. I have noticed a number of the brands which are part of say the Trigano group have the same profiles and layouts with just changes to colour schemes and availability in certain markets. Example of this is there are no Chausson dealers in Spain but there are Benimar, all part of the same overall group

Not been in one Pat but have seen a few over-head cab versions on the road....usually with hire company logo's. Not seen any low profile's like the one in the video...looks nice indeed. What was the price on it in Eire? Looked about 42 grand in Italy...

Just to add......Wouldn't fancy touring Israel in one o.O :D

I never heard of them either but must say there appears to be a lot of Motorhome for Under €60000 ish on the surface anyway.I didn’t ask the price, but I know there is another model with single beds for around €55000.

AFAIK the undersides of PLA's are finished with a GRP skin. Now that should keep any water ingress from driving on wet roads at bay.
