Motorhome Covers...Worth the bother?

Looking for feedback from users of MH Covers. What are the pros and cons? Do they trap moisture inside or work like advertised? What are they like in windy conditions...do they scratch paintwork, windows etc? Thinking of getting one for the wet winter months ahead...Thanks in advance..

I bought a Fiamma one on special offer two winters ago, it was a bargain I just couldn't pass up.
It's still in the original wrapper 🙄🙄🙄

Personally, I wouldn't put one near my van. But some say they are good and the material is a lot better and more breathable than it used to be.

Best plan, I think, is to spend the money on more weekends away.

If you plan on using the van alot you'll get very fit putting it on and off 😁

Plan is to be away every weekend....Just thought it might be a good thing to have it covered weekdays.

No positive reviews for using them yet....Kinda what I expected

Hi
I bought a van a few years back it came with a full cover ,on a sunny day you could see rub marks on the paint work from where the cover or straps were rubbing.i would not recommend one .

I had thought about getting one of these myself but could never really satisfy myself that there would not be rub marks on the windows and at corners so just did not bother.

Thanks for that Gary, exactly what I was wondering about, Rub marks and scratches would be a deal breaker alright

Norman....Looks like we both save money so! :-)

I tired a cover on a caravan and regretted it. It was impossible to stop it marking the paintwork when the wind got up and the van was always filled with condensation inside. I would never use one on my present van.
