I have to say the examiner was good this time. He is known to be strict. I took my Peugeot Expert about a month ago and he failed it on a clip off the drive shaft gaiter. When I brought it back for retest another examiner couldn’t believe he had failed me. He said that he wasn’t even going to examine it told me to drive through and gave me the certificate

Tommy,
I have two word documents from the Fiat Ducato Manual that explains exactly in words and pictures how to adjust the handbrake and it's very easy and worked well on mine which is a 2005 model. I can email them to you if you send me a pm with your email.

Sorry to jump in here.
To send a "pm", click onto the profile name of the recipient. A new page opens with that person registration details. On the bottom right hand corner is a section about private messages, click on the blue "send pm".
After that it's the same as writing a post here.
To read a pm, click on the inbox on the blue toolbar on top of the page to see your message.
I hope that this helps both of you.
Malcolm

Pass/Fail

MH failed MOT yesterday but good news it passed on the handbrake pulling 19. That’s a record. It failed because I did not have lights to the rear showing width. Apparently any vehicle over 2.1m needs lights showing the width. I have had the vehicle from new 2003 and never had a problem before at MOT I would have assumed that it would have built to specification. I’m getting a set of trailer lights fitted, the flexible ones
