Hi Guy's,

Planning a little trip to the IMM 2020 in Geiselwind germany next June!! Hoping to be leaving on May 30th for approximately two weeks and I'm looking for the best route things to do places to stay along the way to break the driving to keep the wife and teen son happy!! We will be staying on-site at the IMM for 4 nights in Geiselwind. Any recommendations on places to stay and do along the way with 14 year old in mind would be great!! Toll costs on this route etc!! General advice as it would be our first time heading to France/Germany and understand that two weeks is a little tight on time.

Route Dublin or Rosslare-Cherbourg

Kind regards

Declan

I just googled a route and these aren't far off it https://sinsheim.technik-museum.de/en/ Stella platz near by but we and others overnited in their large carpark and https://speyer.technik-museum.de/en/ both owned by same company we didn't visit here but they operate a campsite here and I believe you can get a joint ticket if you wish to visit both museums

We liked area around Lake Constance plenty of Stella Platz an if you can manage another Auto Museum https://www.automuseum-wolfegg.de/ and theres a really nice Stella Platz just outside the village with all services + EHU
On our way across we stayed at Monets Garden aire in their carpark & Dun sur Meuse river side aire visiting the Meuse-Argonne American war Cemetery
