Inverter...is it needed?

A bit of a query/survey??

Im getting toward finishing a crafter conversion. I have 12v USB sockets throughout, I dont use a microwave or electric kettle. I have a 12V cello smart TV. My girls and wife don't even use straigteners or hairdryer. I have 240 EHU, good charger, VSR and solar. So what would I need an inverter for?...Ive always had them in last 3 vans but I had 240V TV and sat dish in them. Not sure if I need to spend on an expensive inverter if I dont need....what your thoughts...am I forgetting something?

Based on the info that you have given, I reckon that an inverter would not be needed.
However it might not be any harm to run cables to future proof the project.
Who knows, you might change wives down the road.

Agree, on info given you don’t ‘need’ an inverter....
But handy if you ever need to power a 240v appliance when not on hook-up ... soldering iron, laptop charger etc....... Malcolm’s suggestion is good, run the cables and add later if you ever find the need.

I have an inverter and the only time I ever use it is to charge my drone's batteries, other than that, everything else is USB or 12v.

I use mine for the toaster as we have no grill in the oven. It’s also used for the hairdryer, and anyone who has seen me, knows it’s not me using it 😁.

2500 watt inverter for Hairdryer, hair straighteneres and charging bluetooth speaker, speaker is bigger than the norm to annoy other Motorhome users close by.

(Stop parking so feckin close, there are other spaces!! - herding instinct )

I carry a small spare inverter in case I ever need it - haven't used it in 3 years. I do fantasize about a microwave sometimes, so I can easily make my morning porridge :)

I have one and used it twice in 4 years. ones for a blender and the second to watch a movie on the laptop wild-camping. So I would say not needed but if you come across one handy go for it.
