We live on a quiet road near clonard meath.. and 4 motorhomes (mainly vintage) have passed separately over the last hour... ! What am I missing?!?!

I think there’s a Vintage Self Build Rally somewhere around the Monaghan area this week end? Would they be passing your way to,it?

I don't think so, probably not for monaghan unless it's being used to bypass a low bridge and head for longwood onto navan slane etc...
