Not sure how many of you use the Nextdoor App, i don't think it's available in RoI yet. https://nextdoor.co.uk

Basically an App that you get to know what is going on around you, our local PSNI areflyering people to get the App, its very good and they recommend it.

However they put something on it this morning and burglaries and I never knew this tech exisited - a TV Simulator, come son at dusk and off in the morning, just search TV Simulator on ebay or Amazon or your favourite shoppping place

I run one of them on a timer, and a couple of different lights and a radio during the day, also leave some of the dog stuff around outside front and back all the time I'm away.

A pressure plate under the door mat linked to audio of a shotgun being loaded and cocked would be handy too.

And I went and got a real German Shepherd and alarm box outside! Sadly we also leave the tv on to calm the dog when we are out.

If you have the Amazon Echo (Alexa) it has a guard dog function that you can activate when you are away and it barks randomly.

Well, we live in sunset boulevard. All of my neighbours are retired, who spent most of their day spying on each other, or wondering where the hell that crowd with the camper is gone.
