Do away with them connections & solder them to avoid similar in the future,
Get a bit of heavy heat shrink to give a nice finish 👍🏻

I had them for a year and finally got around to fitting them.

Thanks - 2 little people who are fans of the van there too. In fact, they're rapidly becoming not-so-little so the next big job will be some interior rearranging to give them new sleeping areas. Currently set up as a 3 berth but hoping to make it into 5 :D

Those two we lads are loving every minute of it and rightly so, make every minute of it count as it goes by so quickly.

And yes those wheel trims really make a big difference.

I was tempted to say rectangular ones, but I got Bosch L5013’s the same as the Varta LFD90’s worked out at £105 each from Eurocarparts, Tanya Batteries were similar price for the Varta but didn’t know how long it would take them to get here as the last one I got from the, took over a week (Hermes fault)

Ah, I miss that Trooper! I'd buy it back tomorrow if I could. Still yearn for a 4x4 camper, though there's more than 2 of us now so we might need a bigger boat :D https://www.expedition-trucks….ion-camper

Got Matilda ready for her Medical on Thursday morning, couple of shiny new rear lenses, a bulb, and a new wiper. swapped out the gas bottles and checked the EHU leads getting her ready for France in 3 weeks. gave her a spin down to Arklow to make sure I could drive it, then got Susie to drive back to Wicklow.

Gave her a big hug cause she passed
I'm sure the people passing taught I'd lost it.
Taking her out to dinner in greystones tomorrow , I know we only live 2km away, but drink driving and its cheaper then taxis.

Not to the Motorhome but for the Motorhome....

I wanted to be able to park MH in my garden, I have a fairly large concrete bay but needed to gain a few more feet to be able to reverse right back and in a bit from the footpath. I decided need's must so knocked out a section of rear wall and built up a new retaining walled section behind it. Filled it in with the rubble and hardcore... Ready for concrete..

Living on a hill make's a straight forward job a bit long winded but I want a level parking area for the MH....

Need to get some nice coloured crushed stone for the area below new walled section and job done!

Would be a tad hairy trying that...Knowing my luck my foot would slip when hitting the brakes and disaster! o.O

Ideal though for job's on the rear overhang :D

Got width markers put on at the rear. The MH failed the MOT because it didn’t have these. It was never picked up on MOT before it has to be fitted to vehicles over 2.1m

Peeled off our various MHC stickers with hair dryer hopefully will restick on new MH.
Starting to box up contents it is amazing how much you accumulate over a few years - find things you lost.

Came by some of these LED modules (they come in a strip of about 50 for backlighting signs)

So decided to try convert some the fluorescent light fittings

Pretty happy with the three I did 😀
