Maybe dvd/cd player too?

Seen a few running android OS. Anybody any experience with these?

Sorry no, but I keep meaning to get one myself. Let us know if you get one. Plenty of good deals on eBay, don't know what they are like though.

If you take a look at Halfords they may have offers on some of the more main stream brands, I was looking for my boxer cab but found the Chinese/android ones were slightly bigger around the frames which would have meant modifying the outer dash plates and I’m not too good at that sort of thing

It's nice to have all the bells and whistles but perhaps satnav should not be one of them if the radio is for a motorhome.
Radios for the car market are unlikely to have a satnav with functionality suitable for camper routing nor camper related poi's preloaded.

Being old school I prefer seperate units, reversing camera, satnav, radio, so if one packs in you don't have the situation where the whole multifunction unit has to go in the bin

Instead of changing to an Apple Carplay/Android Auto head unit I fitted a tablet holder and use that for the app/sat nav/streaming of music
