Any recommendations near or in Kilkenny with power for Friday week.
No other facilities needed.
Going for a clinic appointment.

He usually turn off the water for the winter for fear of frost damage, MHC had a couple meets there in the past during winter months and it was lovely except for the meeting room was Baltic cold and you couldn't heat it with a rocket engine as the ceiling was some kind of mesh which let all of the heat escape. Dan is a sound guy and wouldn't see anyone stuck, afaik the site is officially closed for the winter, he will allow the odd one stay, you could be on your own with out water etc unless you are attending an organised meet, at least that was the way when we used to meet up there.

Thanks for that. Ah that's no problem. There are a few motorhomes going and we've only booked the campsite given that it's New Years Eve. We won't be using meeting rooms, campers kitchen, showers or any of that. We plan on being out and about most of the time and just using the van for sleeping and showers (will have our own water before we arrive in case).

We stayed in Tree Grove at the weekend for 2 nights.

Lovely spot. Nice welcome. Plenty of MH and caravans and a few tents braved the wind. I'd say it was full.

Decent shower block and loos and a MH service point.

Would definitely go back.

Were you in his social room? just wondering if he has the wall built right up to the roof now as we would love to use it for meets again.

There were some kids there alright.

There was a handwritten sign in the reception window that did say something like children only allowed during school holidays.

I took it as being a joke as there was also a sign for no commercial vehicles but there were at least 2 vans there.
