Sorry to drag up an old thread but have searched both the app and the site to no avail.

We're after buying an annual pass for Tayto Park so want to get use out of both that and the motorhome. I see rathbeggan lakes mentioned but it will close from 1st September (possibly for good given their escalating insurance costs, which is a shame, it's a great spot).

We're in west Dublin so not far from tayto park anyway, but hoping to incorporate our visits with a night away in the van wondering if there's any town or village opposite direction to Dublin within a 30 min or so drive from Tayto Park that we could go afterwards for a meal and a couple of drinks and park up safely for the night?

Probably a bit late with this reply, but last year we visited Tayto Park, we came from the North and stayed at Irish Military War Museum
