That camper body looks like it was designed for pick up like a hi lux etc. they have a pallet of some kind under it for the Luton to clear the cab. I think Kevin is right it looks to be lowered, that gave the impression that it was way over weight. I wonder how you are covered with insurance if that Transporter is commercially insured?
A very badly mounted demountable. His bed is too long and his cab is too high, necessitating the improvised spacer.
Don't often see demountables with irish plates, I'd image that vehicle classification / motor tax would be precarious to say the least, and thats before we mention insurance.
A GB reg demountable was beside me in the Aire at Le Pin Parasol in the Vendee recently, he's getting rid of his, partly because of the insurance situation over there. Can only imagine it'd be much worse in Ireland.
Anyway the guy with the demountable was saying that the L200 he had it on was an absolute pig to drive when anything was loaded in the overhanging bit at the rear and in particular it was very noticeable if the water tank was full, extra distance of the weight from the rear axel made the front end really light.
I was going to suggest the same was happening here but looking back at the picture, the front is lowered too, its just a very badly mounted demountable sitting on a slammed transporter crewcab flat bed.
