Hi Craicers,

Has anyone been to Gosford Park campsite recently? Thinking of taking my four-year-old son in the campervan next month and would love to hear your recommendations for which site and pitches are the best.

I prefer quieter spots with space for kiddo to play safely. Also somewhere where I can fit a rear facing awning.

TIA 🙏

Site B, b- means basic :) - the old TITT's site, is great but not EHU so wouldnt suit you. Stick to site A, never stayed on Site A so hopefully someone else will advise.

We stayed on Gosford last year it was very quiet and peaceful with lots of animals to see and great walks. The main site is like a hugh circle with pitches around the outside next to the hedge and then pitches in the middle area. One toilet block in the middle which could benefit from a refurb. We were told by the wardens we could leave anytime before 8pm if we wanted to stay all day, some did. BUT, it is now all under new management so I don't know about now. Nice short walk into Markethill.

Loved the old TitTs site. Sorry to see it go. It was very peaceful.

We stayed at site A couple of months ago, fantastic place and loads of open areas for the kids. To be honest any pitch in the middle section would do your needs.

We were in : HARD-STANDING PITCH WITH ELECTRIC / HSE PITCH 30

So yes, Site A and Plenty of room behind and around all of the inner section pitched.

Was in Gosford forest park yesterday.
Not staying but spoke to a caravaner I new. He says it's now £20 on the main site but £17 on the old TITT's site
Which in my opinion is very expensive for no toilet or electric etc.
Both sites were almost full.
