Hmmm..... looking at google maps and thinking about where I would like/want to be over the winter and the area from Malaga up to Almeria has caught our attention. In and around Salobreña looks nice. We spent a while east of Malaga last year but sort of travelled up that coast and missed that area and now think it may be somewhere we would like to spend more time in.
So, has anyone been in that area in the motorhome, spent time there? Any recommendations? Don’t mind Aires/wilding with an odd visit to a site for laundry etc.

Wilded at salobrena, in the previous van, which was under 6m you’d have to plan your routes as access can be an issue. It was very popular with the french. Liked the area but won’t be rushing back.

Is there anything in particular that makes you say you’ll not rush back Jamie?
We’re after just some winter sun with access to a supermarket once a week and services every 3rd day or so..... don’t mind not being on a site.

There was 3 places to park up, one looked like a commune, washing hanging everywhere chaotic parking lots of loose dogs, the area we found was alongside a building project, although nothing being built there were 3 MH and two touring caravans, the caravan users didn’t bother using their own toilet instead peeing beside their van and the third area was part of a small Carpark and space for 4 vans but double that using it. Beach very stoney and hard to walk on as you sink in the stones. So not for me.

By the sounds of that it isn't for us either Jamie. Thanks for the heads up.

It was 3 or 4 years ago and there are so many really nice places that means it’s not on my list to rush back to.
We are doing a longer trip this year, closing for 6 months instead of the usual 4 so hoping to find some new places.
