Another vote here for the toll tag, we have ATMB and find it fine.

@Ally
Here is another topic which could do with a bit of consolidation there must be at least 6 topics dealing with french Tolls then you have Ireland, Spain, and Portugal
you could probably put them under Tolls and then subhead them different Countries :-/

Sure you have time on your hands your on holidays ;-)

Thanks.

But that would have the completely opposite effect, it would create another category and forum. Everything is available by search.

Also, please keep requests such as this to a new topic so as not to pollute existing topics 👍

However, I have moved this topic to "Across the water" where I and other moderators should of moved it too.

That sounds like a nice bit of planning has went on.
Enjoy the rest of your stay.

Great to have that much time. On our timescale to get where we wanted to go, non toll roads wouldn’t be an option. Enjoy

That is exactly how we see it,time is it the essence.

Fully understand, we wore that t-shirt too.
Now being cash poor and time rich pensioners we normally set the satnav to No Toll routes.

You'll get there too 😀👍

When planning a route We always use the sat nav then look at the route options usually 2 some times 3 we pick one then do it again with tolls accepted and check the time often there's a time / mileage saving using tolls but not always,Then we make a final route choice. Sometimes toll rds aren't so much more expensive if you save time less engine hrs less fuel used and saves a lot of speed bumps and roundabouts + speeding fines

That's pretty much what I do, with the exception that I also add in if the Holiday is at the end of the drive I go tolls and use ATMB. but if the drive is part of the holiday then I wander along.
