Hi Chris & Aaron,
I enjoy the pod casts also,
I sometimes have to have the volume turned up to hear Chris properly but then when Aaron speaks its too loud,

Is anybody else finding this or is it just me?

Keep up the good work by the way,

Looking forward to the next one 👍🏻

Really enjoying the podcast! I bought my van last year but have only been getting the chance to go camping this year. It's great hearing all of your tips and camp site reviews :)

Would love to hear some more tips on "wild camping" though. I have a T5 converted van so some tips on smaller vans would be awesome!

Keep up the good work guys!

Episode 21 of The Camping Crew podcast is out now.
We discuss Aarons visit to Tree Grove. Chris’s visit to Strand Camping. A new site. The kindness of campers. Getting away. Changes to your van.
https://anchor.fm/the-camping-crew

Talcum powder is evil. It’s really difficult to clean up in a wet environment.
Also I have to disagree with your view about fanore and their stance on not letting people who are not staying there pay to shower. We don’t allow this either we restrict the use of our facilities to campers staying on the campsite. I don’t know Fanore’s set up but our showers are not coin or token operated so if we allowed a walk to use the shower they could be in there for a few minutes or 30 minutes which means that our paying camping customers might have to wait. When we first opened we allowed it only to find one person who just wanted a quick shower was in the shower for 45 minutes and did their hand washing of clothes at the same time. And the shower was left in a terrible state. Now if I had tokens and charged for a set amount of time that might be different but I agree with Aaron and I hate paying extra for showers and I’m not going to start giving out one token per person per day.
I have also said on this website my site doesn’t lend itself to offer a service only as the service point is located adjacent to the entrance/exit and we don’t want it to get blocked. It might work for bigger sites with more space but not for us.
My job as a campsite owner is to look after my paying customers not service the needs of wild campers and I say that as a winter wild camper.

Another great one.

Guys if you are not listening to these it is not too late to start, it's not like BBC iPlayer, they stay and you can listen at your leisure, if any of you need help on how to listen to a podcast, please ask!

Not only that, there are thousands, millions? of Podcasts on thousands of subjects.

Got an Android phone? this is the simple one I use: https://play.google.com/store/…asts&gl=GB

Enjoying these podcasts a lot and this one is another good episode.
Got a suggestion for a topic to discuss? Get in touch with Aaron or Chris via the links on their podcast platform.
Maybe Jamie’s (strandcamping) suggestion of ‘jobs in the motorhome’ would be a good topic to discuss, we use that plan too.
Like the idea of the recording link, makes it easy for anyone to make a contribution.
Well done fellas, keep them coming.

Hi Nipper

We love getting discussion suggestions. Can you elaborate on what you mean by Parking. Do you mean Wild Camping, we now call it Motorhome Camping :-) or overnight parking?

We have discussed this in a few episodes but havent gotten into it in too much detail as most of the time Aaron or I use campsites.

We would love to bring someone on to an episode that exclusively camps outside of campsites for a chat about it so if you or any one else would like to join us on an episode get in touch.

Chris.
